Named after the most anticipated and intense moment in electronic dance music, Drop is a hidden escape from Lincoln Park's typical sports bar-driven nightlife scene. Located downstairs on Lincoln Ave just a block south of Armitage Ave (with Bricks Pizza,) the underground, cave-like lounge opens daily from 8pm til 4am (5am on Saturdays.)
Owner Arthur Knutson commissioned designers Tim Kitzrow (RedNoFive, blue 13) and Julie Palmer (Red Kiva, Vaportini) to help revive a previously dark and grungy space into a chic and inviting neighborhood lounge. New Orleans resident Steve Yamada (Tivoli and Lee, rEvolution) offers up a seasonal beverage menu of classic and innovative creations.
Each night at Drop has its own lifespan. Early and post-dinner patrons enjoy unique cocktails or one of our many Chicago microbrews in a cozy, intimate space ideal for a few drinks amongst friends, old and new. As the night progresses, Drop evolves into a buzzing, energetic hideaway, filled with neighbors and party-goers alike, listening to the latest in EDM and house music while throwing back one of our craft Drop shots.
